  • Netherlands wins Euro Top4

    The Netherlands beat Belgium by 20-15 today in the final of the Euro Top4 Invitational Tournament in Eindhoven (NED).

  • Chinese Taipei U23 beats Netherlands in World Cup

    A full-strength Dutch U21 team lost in a thriller match - decided after a Golden Goal - to the Chinese Taipei U23 team, without Ricky Wu, in the final of the 19th Monuta U23 World Cup in Apeldoorn (NED). It has been the first time in history the Dutch U21 team has lost a match to a different team than Belgium. Dutch coach Wim Scholtmeyer was very disappointed after the result and KNKV will know they have homework to do toward next year's IKF U21 European Championship to be held in Milton Keynes (ENG)

  • New book on korfball published

    Recently a new book on korfball is published by the Taiwan National Institute of Educational Resources and Research. The author is the IKF Regional Vice President for Asia, Dr. Inglish Y. C. HUANG.

    The title of the book is: ” Teaching Methods, Materials, and Assessment in Physical Education: Korfball”.

    The book will be available thru a link to publish soon.

  • IKF and KNKV announce schedule for IKF European Championship

    In Zeist (NED), the Royal Netherlands Korfball Association KNKV and the IKF announced the schedule of the IKF European Championship. Reigning champion the Netherlands will face Germany on the first day of the event.

  • IKF Europa Shield 2010 - final day

    The end result of the IKF Europa Shield 2010 in Szazhalombatta (Hungary) around 25 kilometers outside Budapest are:

    1. NC Benfica (POR) : winner of the IKF Europa Shield 2010

    3. CEVG (CAT)
    4. Kwiek (ENG)
    5. Mitcham (ENG) - after Golden Goal
    6. Kenguruk (HUN)

    The last day matches were exciting. Close, a lot of tension, good korfball and the best team team became the winner of the Europa Shield 2010.

  • IKF Europa Shield 2010 - day 1

    The first day of this event in Szazhalombatta (Hungary) did show some exciting matches. In total twelve (12) matches were played in a long day. The eight (8) teams plus the referees and the jury showed great commitment during all matches. During the day there were two matches decided by Golden goal. CEVG was involved in both matches.
